Watch a Chicken Drumstick Dissolve in Acid like the World’s Worst Hot Tub

It has been said that the devil finds work for idle hands, and nowhere has this been truer than while watching a video of someone dissolving a chicken drumstick in acid for laughs. The video, which posted on the YouTube channel Nile Red Shorts, which is known for its weird science experiments, shows how the caustic concoction quickly dissolves tissue, muscle, and bone, “vaporizing” the entire drumstick in just two minutes.

Sulfuric acid and hydrogen peroxide are combined in a finger-licking recipe for chicken-disappearing soup (this is a joke, please DO NOT TOUCH ACID and lick your fingers). It has also known as the “piranha Solution,” which is a professional cleaning solution for organic residue on equipment.

Piranha solution dissolves all organic stuff it comes into touch with, whether it is plant debris, animal corpses, or a human body because it is a powerful acid. This might explain why it is so upsetting to witness the vulnerable chicken drumstick turn into a furious, bubbling heap of brown.

There are several significant contrasts between this chicken drumstick’s unfortunate fate and the bathtub scene from Breaking Bad. Walter White’s solution was hydrofluoric acid, which the Royal Society of Chemistry affirmed is not something you want in your bathtub. While such an acid bath may readily destroy skin and fat tissue, the breakdown leaves behind a very unpleasant sludge, in contrast to piranha solution, which leaves practically no trace, as seen in the video.

After admitting to the murders of eight individuals who he dissolved in acid baths, serial murderer John George Haigh learned the hard way that “you can’t establish murder without a body.” Police discovered 12 kilos (28 pounds) of human body fat, three gallstones, and dentures that had survived within the sludge, which they used to establish one of the victims’ identities. Needless to say, piranha solution is not something you want to come into touch with and should avoided at all costs, such as when vaporizing animal parts at home. Nile Red, thank you for the video, you are a maverick, you are a maverick.
