History

Nandan Park is a project of Nandan group a well established business company of Bangladesh. This group is pursuing new business opportunities because the world is not static. There have been many developments in the recent past that will affect us all both in Bangladesh and globally.

As their commitment is to improve the quality of life of the people in Bangladesh they tried to make a project in where they can give the people entertainment. They actually want to make the life of Bangladeshi people more enjoyable. They felt that they need to develop a competitive business in entertainment sector in Bangladesh. According to this thought they create a Park business in Bangladesh and that is Nandan Park.

Nandan Group feels that one and only leading group operates the business like Fantasy Kingdom and this park is not for all types of people of the society. Even not for al age group of people. Fantasy Kingdom is specifically for teenagers and surrounding age’s people. Nandan Park is established for every age group.

Nandan Park is a joint venture of Nandan Park limited and Nicco Parks & Resorts Limited, India. They have total 16 investor and 14 of them are United Kingdom’s citizen.

Objectives:

To introduce, the new think of entertainment term in the people of Bangladesh.
To make Bangladeshi people interested about entertainment.
To make a comparative business sector in Bangladesh for entertainment.
To fulfill the social commitment.

Location

The park situated on Baripara and it is just 25 minutes from the city, on the Dhaka-Chandra highway, it takes 10 minuets if any body tries to come in the park from Shaver. The Nandan Park is a natural park of fun and excitement.

Parks open each and everyday of the week from 11 am to 09 pm. They might change there timing on some special occasions

Facilities

Rides-

There are different types of ride in Nandan Park. Some of them are really interesting. There were 11 rides when Fantasy Kingdom started its journey but now there are 24 rides.

1. Cable Car

It is neither plane nor train, it run over the sky and here is the real interesting factor. It is really thrilling to enjoy this ride.

2. Water coaster.

It’s a ride where people have felled from a big height and it is really an exciting one.

3. Moon Raker.

It’s a car to go on Moon. This train goes to the Moon with huge sound and noise. It runs to the moon without rocket.

4. Tilt-A- Whirl.

It is really an interesting event of Nandan Park and people really enjoy it. People could not be able to feel the feelings if we say it in wards.

21.Foods and Beverage Facilities

The Nandan Park is providing foods and beverage facilities inside the park. These foods are produced by themselves (Nandan Foods Ltd.) and they sell these items inside their park. For this reason it is strictly prohibited to bring foods by the visitors. It can be mentioned another business policy, they are also generating revenue from this sector.

In the question of the quality and pricing of the food it can easily be told that the quality is good enough and pricing is fair.

Security

Nandan Park is providing well protected security both inside and outside of their Kingdom’s territory. They have their own security system, trained stuffs, civil dressed security guard. It should also mention that they have a secured boundary all-around the park. In some unwanted situation they get help from Bangladesh Police, Rapid action battalion (RAB) etc. Bangladesh government providing them Aanser for the security of the park.

Parking

Nandan Park is providing parking facilities for those people who bring their own cars to visit the park. They have own park space and is cover 750 cars to park at a time. But this facility is not well enough when huge number of people gather to visit the park.

Future Program

Nandan Park is a park whose main view is to expand the park. Currently they have 892800 square feet land area and they are going to expand it 1080000 square feet within year. They are going to introduce some new ride in a recent time.

Picnic Spot

Nandan Park has a well decorated and well equipped picnic spot inside their park. This park can accumulate 500 people at a time. This park is looking very nice and people enjoy the spot very much.

Target Customer

According to the management their targeted customer are middle class, upper middle class and upper class. They targeted that those peoples income level starts from 6 to 8 thousands per month.

There are various people visit the park everyday and most of the people come from Dhaka city. Some people come from the surround districts of Dhaka like Narayangonj, Manikonj, Gajipur, Shavar etc. So it can be tolled that the target of Fantasy Kingdom are the people of Dhaka and surround district. The management told us that 15% of their daily visitors are the people come from different district of Bangladesh.

Advertising

The main media of Nandan Park’s advertisement is Newspaper. Nandan Park also dependant on hand bill and poster for advertisement. Nandan Park published their advertisement in daily newspaper they also poster their especial items or program in all over Dhaka city. They gives add on different publication. Nandan Park’s Management thinks the main advertisements of their organization are their visitor of the park.
