Banksia grossa, also known as the coarse banksia, is usually a species of shrub from the plant family Proteaceae endemic to Southwest Quarterly report. It is among fourteen species of banksia of the series Abietinae, these all bear predominantly cylindrical or maybe oval inflorescences. Obtained in 1965, it was described in 1981 simply by Alex George.
