Phytochemistry is sub-fields of Botany or Chemistry. Activities can always be led in organic gardens or in the wild with Ethnobotany. The applications on the discipline can be for Pharmacognosy, as well as the discovery of new drugs, or as one aid for place physiology studies. In a narrower sense the terms are often used to describe the multitude of secondary metabolic compounds seen in plants.
