Landscape architecture is a multi-disciplinary field, incorporating aspects of botany, horticulture, the fine arts, architecture, earth sciences and ecological geography. Landscape architecture is the plan of outside community areas and structures to achieve ecological, social-behavioral or aesthetic outcomes. It involves the methodical study of existing social and environmental conditions and procedures in the landscape, and the plan of interventions that will create the preferred conclusion.
