Mitochondrial Disease

Mitochondrial disease is a gaggle of disorders caused through dysfunctional mitochondria, the organelles which generate energy for your cell. Mitochondria are present in every cell of our body except red our blood cells, and convert the vitality of food molecules to the ATP that power most cell functions. The subclass of the diseases that include neuromuscular disease symptoms tend to be called a mitochondrial myopathy.
