Jumping Library

This article talks about Jumping Library, which is uses adaptors containing markers for fragment selection in combination with barcodes for multiplexing. It can be used with NGS for the mapping of structural variation and scaffolding of de novo assemblies. Jumping Library clone is composed of two stretches of DNA that are usually located many kilobases away from each other. It was constructed that allows the cloning of DNA sequences approximately 100 kilobases away from any starting point in genomic DNA.
