Samsung unveiled a limited-edition Galaxy S22 Ultra Mercedes Benz edition the previous year. This year, the business collaborated with BMW to develop the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW M Edition.
However, the company won’t be treading on iQOO’s toes because the exclusive edition will only be sold in South Korea and there will only be 1,000 produced. Locals can pre-order one until February 13 for KRW 1,727,000 for a 12/512GB unit (link to SK Telecom’s web store). For comparison, a normal S23 Ultra with the same amount of RAM costs KRW 1,600,400. (not including some pre-order discounts).
The Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW M Edition specifically draws inspiration from the BMW M3 E30, the initial iteration of the M3. A themed case, a key ring with six interchangeable BMW emblems from six different eras, the BMW roundel that was unveiled at the celebration of the company’s 50th anniversary, and a metal “We Are M” logo are all included in the exclusive package.
There are additional items as well, including a poster, a cup holder/wireless charger, an analog clock, a photo book, and an air compressor with the BMW logo. Customers will also receive a Starter Pack Voucher for the BMW Driving Center in Incheon, South Korea, where they can take driving lessons from a certified instructor.
Of course, the Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW M Edition will also come with a variety of software extras featuring BMW, such as a unique boot animation and theme.
Fans still have until February 17 to reserve a unit if any are still available after the advanced reservation period closes on February 13 (Monday). Pre-orders and standard S23 series units should begin shipping on the 17th.
