Genetically Modified Organism

This article talks about Genetically Modified Organism (GMO), whose genetic material has been artificially manipulated in a laboratory through genetic engineering or GE.  It’s source of medicines and genetically modified foods and are widely used in scientific research and to produce other goods. In conventional livestock production, crop farming, and even pet breeding, it has long been the practice to breed select individuals of a species in order to produce offspring that have desirable traits. A more specifically defined type of GMO is a “transgenic organism.”
