Bacterial circadian rhythms, as other circadian rhythms, are endogenous “organic timekeepers” that have the accompanying three qualities: (an) in steady conditions (i.e. steady temperature and either consistent light {LL} or steady murkiness {DD}) they waver with a period that is near, however not precisely, 24 hours in term, (b) this “free-running” beat is temperature adjusted, and (c) the musicality will entrain to a suitable natural cycle.
