Ecological systems theory pinpoints five environmental methods with which anyone interacts. This theory offers the framework from which often community psychologists review the relationships using contexts within communities and the wider society. They are: Microsystem, Mesosystem, Exosystem, Macrosystem and Chronosystem. Ecological systems theory got its start by Urie Bronfenbrenner.
