An award-giving ceremony to the meritorious students of (Institution Name)…….School/College was held on 10th Instant in the school/college auditorium. Principal ……(Name) of the school/college presided over the function and the District Commissioner Of (District Name) was present as the chief guest. Distinguished guests and guardians were also invited to the function.
The program began with the recitation from the Holy Quran. Then the chairperson gave a welcome speech. He/she also gave a brief introduction to the academic excellence of the school/college. After that, some students delivered their speech about their feelings and experiences. After that, the chief guest came to the dias. His/her speech inspired the students very much. Then the prize-giving session began. The students who were selected as meritorious regarding their academic performance were first offered a stick of Rajanigandha each. Then each of them was given a crest, a testimonial and a cheque of Tk. 1000/-. They received their reward from the hands of the chief guest and the Principal.
The prize-giving, the session was followed by a pleasing cultural program. The students sang songs, performed dances and staged a drama. At the end of the program, the chairperson gave a short instructive speech. Lastly, he/she thanked all the audiences and declared the end of the program.
