Motor oil is a necessary element of all engines. It is used to lubricate and cool a variety of parts to make sure that wear and tear is minimized, and the possibility of a severe fault developing is thin. Most of us do not come into straight contact with motor oil separately from when checking the level in our vehicles a pair of times a year.
