The major purpose of this thesis paper is to find out the status of dental caries in first permanent molars among the primary school going children. Other objectives are to determine the proportion of DMFT (Decayed Missed Filled Tooth) status among the primary school going children. Here also discuss on find out the relationship of dental caries with age, gender, oral hygiene, food habit and occupation of the parents.
