The nursing process is a number of organized steps intended for nurses to provide excellent care. Learn the several phases, including evaluating, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating. The nursing process is a modified scientific method. Nursing practice was first described as a four stage nursing jobs process by Ida Jean Orlando, fl in 1958. It must not be confused with nursing jobs theories or Health informatics. The diagnosis phase was added later.
