Omphalotus nidiformis, or maybe ghost fungus, is often a gilled basidiomycete mushroom perhaps most obviously for its bioluminescent attributes. It is recognized by occur primarily inside southern Australia and Tasmania. Several Omphalotus kinds with similar bioluminescent attributes occur worldwide, which are presumed poisonous.
