Infonomics is the economics of information, which approach enables the organization to quantify and leverage the business value out of the entire set of data assets the organization owns. It is an enterprise management and organization concept that calls for valuating and accounting for data/information as an asset, similar to other enterprise assets. It provides the framework for businesses to measure, manage and monetize information as a real asset.
