Human reliability is critical due to the contributions of humans towards resilience of systems also to possible adverse consequences involving human errors or oversights, especially when the individual is a crucial area of the large socio-technical systems seeing that is common today. User-centered design and error-tolerant design are merely two of many terms employed to describe efforts to make technology better worthy operation by humans.
