Epacris impressa, also referred to as common heath, is often a plant of the actual heath family. Epacris impressa grows to be a woody shrub through an erect habit, sometimes reaching 2-3 m in level although plants inside the range of 0. 5 to 1 m tall will be more commonly observed. The flowers mainly occur between delayed autumn and planting season, arising in thick and sometimes pendulous clusters along the stems.
