Prime objective of this lecture is to present on Electron Microscope. The electron microscope is a type of microscope that uses a beam of electrons to create an image of the specimen. Microscopy began in 1665 when Robert Hooke coined the word ‘cells’ to describe the structure of cork. This lecture briefly describe on two types of microscope – light and electron and transmission & scanning electron microscopy. Here focus on how they work and the differences between them.
