Biosafety Level

A biosafety level is a level of the particular biocontainment precautions necessary to isolate dangerous biological agents in an enclosed laboratory service. The levels of containment add the lowest biosafety level 1 (BSL-1) to the highest at stage 4. In america, the Centers regarding Disease Control in addition to Prevention have chosen these levels. In europe, the same biosafety levels are defined in a directive.
