Auditors' Report 2015 of Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited

It is a broadly described auditors’ report of Beximco Pharmaceuticals Limited in the year of 2015. Gross profit of the company rose to Taka. 6,000,339,169 million in 2015. Profit after tax also increased to Taka. 1,954,284,516 million in 2015, compared to Taka. 1,528,297,573 million in 2014. Accounts receivable of Taka. 181,056,960 equivalent to US$ 2,321,243 (on 31-12-2014 Taka. 136,834,694 equivalent to US $ 1,763,334) against export sales. On the last working day of the year, each share was quoted at Tk. 84.10 (in 2014 Tk.58.70) in Dhaka Stock Exchange Ltd.; Tk. 84.20 (in 2014 Tk. 59.10) in Chittagong Stock Exchange Ltd.; and GBP 0.2650 in London Stock Exchange (in 2014 GBP 0.1800).

The Board of Directors recommended 10% cash (i.e. Tk. 1 per share) and 5% Stock dividend (i.e. 5 shares for every 100 shares held) for the year 2015. The dividend proposal is subject to shareholders’ approval at the forthcoming annual general meeting. These financial statements are presented in Bangladesh Taka (Taka/Tk/BDT) which is the company’s functional currency. All financial information presented in Taka has been rounded off to the nearest Taka.
