It is a broadly described annual report of Anlima Yarn Dyeing Limited in the year of 2017. During the financial year, the total revenue earnings were Tk. 181 million against Tk. 217 million of the previous year (2015-16). The sales of yarn dyeing were Tk.116 million against Tk. 131 million of the previous year. The sewing thread sales revenue declined to Tk. 66 million against Tk. 87 million of the previous year. The gross profit per kg in yarn dyeing was Tk. 24 compared to Tk. 30 of the previous year. In sewing thread, the gross profit decreased to Tk. 72 per kg from Tk. 75 of the previous year. The net profit of the year is arrived at Tk. 10 million as against Tk. 20 million of the previous year.
The Board of directors has proposed for cash dividend for the year @ Tk. 1.00 per share. Due to inadequate profit, the directors have volunteered not to take any dividend, subject to approval in AGM. These financial statements are presented in Bangladesh Taka (Taka/Tk/BDT) which is the company’s functional currency. All financial information presented in Taka has been rounded off to the nearest Taka.
