Annual Report 2013-2014 of Andhra Bank

It is a broadly described annual report of Andhra Bank in the year of 2013-2014. During the financial year, The Bank’s Total Business increased from Rs. 2,23,933 Crore as on 31^st March 2013 to Rs. 2,52,494 Crore as on 31^st March 2014, registering a growth rate of 12.8%. Total Deposits increased to Rs. 1,41,845 Crore from Rs. 1,23,796 Crore in the previous year, registering a growth rate of 14.6%. Total Income for the financial year 2013-14 increased by 12.0%, from Rs. 13,957 Crore during the financial year 2012-13 to Rs. 15,630 Crore. Operating Profit of the Bank for 2013-14 stood at Rs. 2,760 Crore, while Net Profit stood at Rs. 436 Crore.

An interim dividend of Rs. 64.86 Crores was paid during the financial year, and no further dividend is proposed to be paid for the financial year 2013-14. Tax on dividend amounted to Rs. 11.02 Crores.
