The overall sales turnover (both local and exports) was Taka. 5583.43 lac during the year 2010-2011 compared to Taka. 5515.55 lac in the previous year showing the increase of overall sales turnover by Tk. 67.88 lac during the year 2010-2011 indicating 1.23% increase over the corresponding previous year 2009-2010. The Company earned Gross Profit of Tk. 807.54 lac during the year 2010-2011 compared to Tk. 950.63 lac in the previous year 2009-2010 showing the decrease in gross profit by Tk. 143.09 lac indicating 15.05% decrease over the corresponding previous year. During the year 2010-2011 Company earned a Net Profit of Tk. 45.51 lac after tax compared to the Net profit of Tk. 180.55 lac in the previous year 2009-2010 showing decrease of Net Profit by Tk. 135.04 lac indicating 74.79% decrease in Net Profit over the corresponding previous year 2009-2010.
The Board of Directors proposes and recommends for the declaration of @5% stock Dividend on paid-up capital to the shareholders for the year 2010-2011. These financial statements are presented in Bangladesh Taka (Taka/Tk/BDT) which is the company’s functional currency. All financial information presented in Taka has been rounded off to the nearest Taka.
