Prime objective of this lecture is to present on Weather Forecasting. Weather forecasting is the application of science and technology to predict the state of the atmosphere for a given location. There are three basic methods of forecasting: Persistence; Experience and Computer Modeling. Weather Forecasting is predicting what the weather will be like at a certain time in the near future, in a given location. Different situations need different types of weather forecasts.
