Presentation on Solar Power

This lecture focus to presentation on Solar Power. This lecture basically focus on how Solar Power Works. Here define and discuss on Photovoltaic Cells: energy in the light is absorbed by the material and electrons bounce off  and this gives them a higher state of energy, producing an electric current. Also explain on currently PV cells include: Monocrystalline silicon, Polycrystalline silicon, Microcrystalline silicon, Cadmium telluride and Copper indium selenide or sulfide. Finally discuss on Benefits Solar Power: Powered by the Sun, Zero emissions, little maintenance once installed and can last a lifetime.
