Principle purpose of this lecture is to present on Edgar Allan Poe. Edgar Allan Poe was an American writer, editor, and literary critic. He studied briefly at the University of Virginia; Drinking and gambling difficulties kept him from continuing at UVA. In 1836, he married his 14 year old cousin, Virginia. Last 12 years of life worked as journalist, editor, and creative writer. Poe is best known for his poetry and short stories, particularly his tales of mystery and the macabre.
