Main objective of this lecture is to present on South Asian Situation in Feminist Literature. During the past forty years, South Asia has been the location and the focus of dynamic, important feminist scholarship and activism. The ‘Woman Question’ has been central to the nation-making process in South Asia. Through the mid-nineteenth to early twentieth centuries, it was on the terrain of the ‘status of women’.
