Major objective of this lecture is to present on Pollination and Fertilization. Here describe Pollination in two types; Self-pollination and Cross Pollination. Pollination is the act of transferring pollen from the male parts of a flower to the female parts of the flower. Fertilization occurs when a male gamete of any sexually reproducing organism combines with the female gamete to form a zygote. This cell will then divide to form an embryo and ultimately if all goes well a new individual of that organism.
