Phellinus Ellipsoideus is a species of polypore fungus in the family Hymenochaetaceae, a specimen of which produced the largest fungal fruit human body ever recorded. Found in China, the fruit bodies that is generated by the species are usually brown, woody basidiocarps of which grow on useless wood, where the fungus feeds as being a saprotroph.
