Permission Marketing Definition

Permission marketing is a technique for selling goods and services when a prospect explicitly agrees before hand to receive advertising information. Opt-in e-mail, where Internet users sign up before hand for information with regards to certain product classes, is a beneficial example of choice marketing. Advocates of choice marketing argue that it’s effective because the chance is receptive to message that has been requested in advance and much more cost-efficient because the chance is acknowledged and targetted.
