Organization Development is an effort: planned, organization-wide, and managed from the top, to increase organization effectiveness and wellbeing through planned interventions in the organizations “processes, ” employing behavioral-science knowledge. Organization development can be a deliberately planned, organization-wide effort to increase an organization’s success and efficiency so they can enable the organization to accomplish its strategic goals.
