Principle purpose of this lecture is to present on Nicolaus Copernicus: Ancient Astronomer. He was a Renaissance mathematician and astronomer who formulated a model of the universe that placed the Sun rather than the Earth at the center of the universe. In the Copernikan “Universe”, the orbits of planets and moons were: Perfect Circles; Ellipses; Spirals and Epicycles.
