This roots of logic synthesis is usually traced to the treating logic by George Boole (1815 to 1864), in what is now termed Boolean algebra. Within electronics, logic synthesis is a process by which in turn an abstract type of desired circuit behavior, typically at signup transfer level (RTL), is turned in a design implementation with regard to logic gates, typically by the computer program known as a synthesis software.
