Libertarian Marxism is one of the main currents of libertarian socialism. It refers to a broad scope of economic and political philosophies that emphasize the anti-authoritarian aspects of Marxism. It has often had a strong influence on both post-left and social anarchists. It is a subcategory of libertarian socialism, and that the latter is either very close to, or synonymous with, social anarchism and left-libertarianism. It is one of the main currents of libertarian socialism.
