Major objective of this lecture is to present on Rainfall Measurement. Most rain gauges generally measure the precipitation in millimetres equivalent to litres per square metre. In this lecture briefly focus on Observed and predicted rain rate; Wave height prediction and Misalignment in time and space. The level of rainfall is sometimes reported as inches or centimetres.
