Electrical hazards can cause burns, shocks and electrocution (death). Prime purpose of this lecture is to present on Electrical Safety in Home. by this lecture you can understand the effects of electric shocks; how a plug should be wired correctly; how electrical safety devices work etc. All electrical systems have the potential to cause harm. Electricity can be either “static” or “dynamic.” Dynamic electricity is the uniform motion of electrons through a conductor. Conductors are materials that allow the movement of electricity through it. Most metals are conductors. The human body is also a conductor.
