Ecophysiology is a biological discipline which studies the adaptation of organism’s physiology to environmental conditions. It is closely related to comparative physiology and evolutionary physiology. Plant ecophysiology is anxious largely with two topics: mechanisms and scaling or integration, and how their collective relation to plant growth and gas exchange could be understood on this basis.
