About Credulity

Credulity is a tendency to believe in things too easily and without evidence. This noun is associated with being naive, gullible or innocent. It shouldn’t be confused with credibility, which means “believability,” although it is often misused in this way. Credulity is not simply a belief in something that may be false. The subject of the belief may even be correct, but a credulous person will believe it without good evidence.
