Control Reconfiguration

Control Reconfiguration

Control Reconfiguration is required that the nominal controller remains part of the reconfigured control loop. It is to find a different set of actuators for controlling the plant and to use them in such a way that the plant output is identical to the output of the nominal closed-loop system. It is used when severe faults, such as actuator or sensor outages, cause a break-up of the control loop, which must be restructured to prevent failure at the system level. Control Reconfiguration is a building block toward increasing the dependability of systems under feedback control.
