A computer mouse is an input device that is most often used with a personal computer. A mouse is an input device that translates its movements on the desktop into digital information; this is feed to the computer which in turn causes the cursor to move on the screen. Underneath the mouse is a ball which rotates as the mouse is moved on the desk, and sensors pick up this movement. Mice usually have one, two or three buttons, used which are to make selection on the screen.
