Civic nationalism is the form of nationalism the spot that the state derives political legitimacy through the active participation of its citizenry, to the degree that that represents the “general will”. Civic nationalism is a form of nationalism identified simply by political philosophers who trust a non-xenophobic type of nationalism compatible together with values of overall flexibility, tolerance, equality, along with individual rights.
