Channel value proposition is a business model as used by suppliers to appeal to members of the distribution channel. This consists of many elements, based on the sophistication on the supplier and sales channel members, and the strength of competition for share on the channel. Skilled suppliers research their channel members’ needs in order that they tune their own channel value proposition to these should gain more extender in winning share on the channel and to minimize the cost of so doing.
