It is a broadly described annual report of Linde Bangladesh Limited in the year of 2015. Total payment of duty and taxes to National Exchequer in 2015 was Tk. 1,087 m as against Tk. 1,017 m for 2014. The revenue of the Company for the year 2015 was Tk. 3,933 m as against Tk. 3,984 m of 2014. Working Capital position was Taka 596 m in 2015 as against Taka 846m of 2014. A decline of 1% in Sales was reported in 2015 compared to the previous year. Despite the lower sales from the previous year, gross profit margin is higher by 7% and this is mainly due to the lower cost of purchase of imported raw material.
An interim dividend of Taka 20.00 (200%) per share amounting to Taka 304.36m was paid out in the year. The Directors’ recommendation for a final dividend of Taka 11.00 per share for the year, involving a payout of Taka 167.4 m subject to approval at the Annual General Meeting, overall dividend percentage for the year would be 310% and total dividend payout for the year would amount to Taka 471.77 m (2014 Taka 471.77 m). The Directors propose to transfer net profit for the year Taka 650.47 m to General Reserve.
