During the year 2012, your company’s consolidated net profit (Excluding non-controlling interest) amounted to Tk. 1,626.89 million as compared to Tk. 815.50 million in the year 2011. The Board recommends a stock dividend of 12.50% (i.e. 1 Bonus Share for every 8 Shares) and the cash dividend of 12.50% (i.e. Tk 1.25 per share of Tk. 10.00 each) for the year 2012, subject to approval by the shareholders at the 15^th Annual General Meeting. These financial statements are presented in Bangladesh Taka (Taka/Tk/BDT) which is the company’s functional currency. All financial information presented in Taka has been rounded off to the nearest Taka.
