The company has secured good performance reflecting in substantial growth in the net income of the Company by 35.3% to Rs. 32,319 Crores in the year under review from Rs. 23,894 Crores in the previous year. Net Profit after tax for the year ended 31st March 2012 Rs. 2,878.89 Crore. The Company’s earnings in foreign exchange were Rs. 1,857.62 Crores for the financial year ended 31st March 2012.
The Board of Directors is pleased to recommend a dividend of Rs. 12.50 per Ordinary (Equity) Share of the face value of Rs. 5/- each, payable to shareholders for the year ended 31st March 2012.
