The aim of this lecture is to present on Ancient Greek God: Demeter. She is Goddess of the harvest and Worshipped with festivals. Demeter was also known for founding the Eleusinian Mysteries. These were huge festivals held every five years and very important events for many centuries. She is also called Ceres, Sito, Thesmophoros and Goddess of grain and fertility.
