A Report On SSC/HSC Exam Results: Another Record-Breaking Year

The results of Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) Examinations …..(Year) published yesterday, broke all previous records with a 70.34 percent pass rate and 41,917 students achieving GPA-5.

The number of schools/colleges with a hundred percent pass records has also increased to 2,272 from last year’s 778. At the same time, the number of schools/colleges with zero pass came down to 91 from 248. Similarly, the results also showed a rise in achieving the highest grade point average (GPA-5) as it rose to 41,917 from 25,732 last year.

Pass percentage of Dhaka Board was 77.81, Rajshahi 64.89, Comilla 73.00, Jessore 71.43, Chittagong 72.62, Barisal 68.77, Sylhet 63.88 and Dinajpur 69.78. Educationists and teachers of renowned colleges believe that this success in the country’s largest public examination is the outcome of student’s efforts and guardian’s awareness.

Education Minister officially announced the results yesterday at 2.00 pm at a press conference at the Education Ministry. “The pass rates are increasing gradually since …..(Year). This proves that the employee’s standard is improving,” he/she told the press conference. He/she also thanked all officials and employees of all the education boards for publishing the results in 60 days as per the promise of the ministry.
