WhatsApp Releases a New Windows App

On Thursday, Meta-owned WhatsApp revealed that users can link the popular communication app to up to four devices even if their phones’ batteries die.

The instant chat software said on Twitter: “No charger, no problem.” You can now connect WhatsApp to up to four devices, ensuring that your conversations remain synced, protected, and flowing even if your phone goes inactive.

It also wrote: To make linking devices even easier, we’ve created an entirely new app for Windows. With faster loading and a familiar interface, chatting between devices feels seamless.

In order to better serve its customers globally, WhatsApp updates its features frequently. It recently debuted some innovative and fascinating upgrades.

What are the new updates?

The number of participants: The number of users who can be added to a single group has grown on WhatsApp. The number of consumers of the program has increased from 512 to 1,024. Now, additional people can be added to a group without concern for available rooms.

Admins in control: WhatsApp is enabling group administrators to accept requests for new members, giving them more authority.

“When new members want to join the group and this option is enabled, group admins can review them by opening ‘Pending participants’ within the group info screen or tapping the in-chat banner,” said WaBetaInfo.

Groups in common: WhatsApp has released a new update that allows users to see organizations they have in common with the person they are looking for.

This would be helpful in situations where they can remember the name of a group member but not the name of the group.

The new feature provides users with more information when they search for contacts within the search bar.
